Effie Wanyi Li (b.1995), a Chinese artist based in London, holds a BA in Fine Art from Central Saint Martins College of Art(2019) and completed an MA in Painting at the Royal College of Art in 2023. Her paintings embody a profound exploration of the body’s internal mechanisms, both physical
and psychological. Effie’s focus lies in unravelling the alternative structure of the inner human body and its responses to mental states. Through painting, she engages in a synchronized dialogue with her body and mind, aiming to comprehend the intricacies of human functionality.
